Our facilities and practices have previously been recognized by AAALAC International, and we are actively undergoing the renewal process to maintain alignment with global scientific and ethical benchmarks.

Mr. Shivashankar is the visionary Founder and Managing Director of Liveon Biolabs, where he has been instrumental in establishing the company as a trusted name in the preclinical contract research space. A passionate entrepreneur and committed leader, he embodies the company’s credo “Science for Life”—through a relentless focus on quality, innovation, and ethical science.
With decades of diverse experience in preclinical and non-clinical research, Mr. Shivashankar is known for his pragmatic leadership and ability to translate vision into actionable growth. His entrepreneurial journey is marked by a commitment to scientific integrity, regulatory excellence, and strategic expansion across the CRO industry. He holds a Master’s degree in Sericulture from the University of Agricultural Sciences (UAS), Bangalore, and has completed the prestigious Strategic Management Programme for Senior Professionals from the Indian Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode.

Our state-of-the-art, 80,000 sq. ft. facility is equipped with advanced instrumentation and supported by a 45,000 sq. ft., housing nearly 50 animal rooms and dedicated formulation, surgical, and necropsy suites—ensuring scientific excellence in every study.
With a global footprint spanning 350+ clients across 30+ countries, we are known for our regulatory expertise and ability to generate data aligned with international standards, including US-FDA, EMA, PMDA, MFDS, and CDSCO requirements. Our multidisciplinary team of scientists and technicians brings decades of experience, ensuring not only accuracy and compliance but also proactive collaboration at every step.
